every time i wear this top i feel a bit like a sailor, but inevitably someone tells me i look like waldo. i like it anyway. and i really like these pants. i’ve been on the hunt for black jersey trousers and finally found them! guess where?

while this guy spent a good portion of the last day of 2011 cleaning out his closet and taking a buttload of clothes to goodwill, i reached into the depths of mine for some nye inspiration. i’ve only worn this dress once before because its pretty loud and really little. i tried my best to make it a little less scandalous and more age-appropriate but still dressy and fun for our evening of excitement. also, i flippin love these booties. i kind of wish i could wear them everyday.

welcome to wisconsin, folks. it. is. cold. if you follow me on twitter, you know i flew home yesterday and it was basically a nightmare. but it is good to be home with my family, despite the frigid temps. this was my airport outfit - i always have grand plans of dressing up for travel, but leggings always seem to win. easy slip on and off shoes are essential for flying, and a scarf for keepin warm on the plane.

holy moley, is it cold in the mornings in los angeles. time to bundle up in cozy, sweater-y layers.

i’ve already given you the scoop on fashions night out, so here’s what i wore! i have yet to meet a romper i don’t like in theory, but its much harder to find ones that actually work on me. i borrowed this one from nontra a few weeks ago for a night downtown and knew that it was exactly what i wanted to wear for FNO too.
