you wouldn’t believe it by the little amount that i actually post, but i spend so.much.time. thinking about this blog of mine. i don’t know why it feels so important to me, but i can’t quite figure out what i want it to look like and how i want it to feel and what i want my posts to be like and and and and all this stuff that in the grand scheme of things - really doesn’t matter. or does it? i don’t know. i feel like i would love to somehow be able to paint and craft and take photos and blog for a living. or at least make some kind of earning from it. but then, does it loose what was once special about it? the majority of blogs i read do have sponsors and i think that has a big impact on content. they’re all so happy-smiley-this is my enviable perfect life blogs and it stresses me out that they don’t ever seem to have a bad day and they always look adorable and everything they touch turns to glitter magic. then i think my isn’t my life like that? what am i doing wrong? i have anxiety and bad hair days and my photo skills are seriously lacking - who wants to read that girls blog? maybe i would, because at least she’s real - right? who knows. in the meantime i guess i’ll just keep on keepin on and maybe one day i’ll figure things out. i’d also love to hear your opinions. thoughts?

in the never-ending struggle to refine my blog, i’ve decided i need to just figure it out and do it. the starting point: inspiration. i feel like most people are probably like me and follow all their blogs on a reader, but i still want to be proud and happy when i visit my page and i want my readers to feel like its a place they want to come back to. by far, my favorite is from me to you {top image}. i just love all of the details. but a common theme through all my favorites here seems to be that they have a tactile quality.
